Any Mediation and Structured Settlement Firms interested in providing a Guest Blog piece to reach more Injured Workers?

A recent inquiry arrived regarding potentials for guest blogs.  I have always wanted to highlight the best, most brilliant minds in the industry, but sadly, most have been found to be pretty mediocre when it comes to thinking about resolutions for Injured Worker dilemmas and fights for life.

National industry spokesmen have actually spent time and effort in May on disparaging diatribes about my blogs and me personally, and some of my injured worker friends.  Fascinating that they would choose to displace aggression about the ProPublica /NPR expose INSULT TO INJURY – The Demolition of Workers Compensation and direct it on a WorkComp Survivor in rural America– with a brain injury, a computer and a blog, isn’t it?
 
Please kindly take a look at my other blogs, Ask About Workers Comp Gravy Trains… reach to date over 35,000.  It is not considered ‘politically correct’ by any stretch of the imagination, however, it may serve to help free some of the WORK COMP HOSTAGES in America, Canada, UK and Australia.  
 
Before we discuss what you have in mind for a guest blog, please be sure you are fully aware of my other works on Workers Comp.
 
Your website is a wealth of information!  Part of what needs to happen in America is to educate the unsuspecting public BEFORE A WORK INJURY TAKES PLACE.   When a poor choice is made initially in retaining counsel, it can mean a death warrant for the injured worker.  THIS MUST CHANGE.
 
In too many states, it seems that attorneys representing Injured Workers are merely serving the workers to the insurance carriers on a silver platter, tarnished as it may be.
 
We would welcome information on “Mediation and Structured Settlements” as a ways and means to resolution of ‘complicated’ cases that have been churning for years and years, and any other strategies you may offer to attorneys, insurance vendors and injured worker readers of My Work Comp Coach aimed at actions to achieve resolutions and freedom from WorkComp/restoration of civil rights and human rights to the injured and disabled communities.

…It simply is not enough to complain. Everyone has a complaint. A complaint without a solution is bulls**t. You may as well just dig a hole and hide because no one is going to pay attention.

Everyone knows that bad sh*t happens in work comp and that there are profiteers off of the injured. That’s no secret.

The contempt and disdain that masks the dangers to Injured Workers by the industry profiteers is undeniable and sounds pretty darn dangerous, doesn’t it?

I want to find a way to propose solutions to help Injured Workers escape the WC System with their lives.  The laws are unenforced and meaningless.

I have a collection of Injured Worker stories, most of whom prefer to be Anonymous.  Watch for them.  They include, but are not limited to, in progress tragedies apparently caused by Sedgwick and others.  Most have poor-to-no legal representation, advocacy, medical care or benefits.  Yes, in America! An AMERICAN DIRTY OPEN SECRET.

Too many lawyers just make stuff up to protect profits by any means necessary. The US Constitution is mocked by the WorkCompsters, and far worse, they get away with it.  You don’t look.  You don’t care. Till you’re stuck in the box car, heading for the death camps of WorkComp.  Enough is enough.

It will require teams of mediators and structured settlement people. Would you find that of any interest? Start with a plan to release all POW’s who have been in the WorkComp System 4 or more years…..within 12 months, with the help and supervision of the National Guard.

It requires “arming ” Injured Workers with the ability to blog and share their stories, heinous as most of them are.

I am also in the process creating a course for Injured Workers to empower them with Work Comp Survival and Virtual Combat Skills!  Watch for it!

I am wondering about the possibilities of a collaborative effort and ezine and possible Tele summit to unite voice of any good people in Workers Compensation with victims of WorkComp to lead legitimate national discussions “Of the People, By the People and For the People.”

I am one voice speaking on behalf of Injured Workers. There are a few of us.

Canadians and Australians seem more vocal about the same class atrocities. Perhaps they don’t fear their governments like so many American’s do?  Has our Constitution become so meaningless that an entire industry can profit by destroying a segment of the Working Class?   ‘When they come for you, there will be no one left to speak for you…’

Most injured workers are too terrified of the WorkCompsters and their legislated fraud and surveillance and threats, compounding denied medical care and benefits.  Doesn’t that truth make you shake your head and want to shout, “NOT IN THIS COUNTRY!!!”

The Injured Worker stories are the same — minor differences are names, body parts, and case numbers.  The outcomes are much the same too…with degrees of further maligned health,  income and job losses, botched surgeries, risk/cost shifts to taxpayers via Social Security and prison systems, ETC.

Some experts insist that the best injured workers can hope for in America is social security disability and an early death.   Really, some industry investigative reporting from the dark side, huh?

Others suggest that the best American’s can hope for is a program to provide ‘food for the poor injured workers’ rather than LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR MEDICAL CARE AND BENEFITS, indictments from criminal conduct of the WorkCompsters, and the protection by the National Guard for extreme CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN EVERY STATE IN THE UNION.

Congress didn’t offer assistance with food banks for poor tortured and abused Injured Workers.   Here’s the October 2015 letter where the ten signers clearly offer assistance, that could indeed come in the deployment of the National Guard, since State agencies also fail injured workers, nationally.

“….and whether added authorities are needed to better ensure that the interests of injured workers and taxpayers are protected.”

We say, keep your bags of surplus food out of the legal functioning of WorkComp…ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT ARE IN PLACE TO PROTECT INJURED WORKERS, AND INDICT THE OFFENDERS THAT READILY COMMIT FRAUD WITH INTENT TO DENY MEDICAL CARE, AND WORSE.

If the laws are unenforceable, then there is no choice but to immediately demolish the workers compensation systems and commence trials for the crimes being committed against every Injured Worker in America, and taxpayers, and employers and legitimate service providers.  You could be their next victim.

I am a work comp survivor, who was extremely unsuccessful in finding competent legal counsel.  Nevertheless, in pro per, ‘the parties reached resolution, subject to confidentiality agreement.”  #BloggersSurviveWorkComp

Doctor and Lawyer pals advised to “get out of the workers comp system by any means necessary; it will kill you.”   Some later said that in their entire careers, they never saw anybody fight so hard to survive WorkComp.

One such ‘fan’ suggested that I create a ‘coaching program.’  From that simple encouragement, I began working on a new blog, MyWorkCompCoach.com and an eCourse, Surviving Work Comp and Virtual Combat Skills on Teachable.

Personal ‘rebranding’  post-WorkComp is difficult when hearing fresh horror stories, while being continuously assaulted by industry trolls and their ilk.  It can, however, be accomplished, with a little help from our friends.

I have been a strong advocate for the CompLaude Awards 2014-2015 and I used my resources to also share in the social media communities about the recent 2016 best blogs contest.

A search of the website, AskAboutWorkersCompGravyTrains.com results in pages of and pages of posts about the Comp Laude event.  Ditto for the ‘Best Blogs’ event.  Call it ‘drivel’ if they will.  Sticks and Stones…..

We also shared news of the Sedgwick Institute Linked in group, for what it’s worth, after reading weeks before of the mega-funded SEDGWICK INSTITUTE, allegedly established to investigate the ‘issues’ of WorkComp.  Search my blogs for further info.  Google it.

I blog extensively, to the best of my abilities, as I recover from Worker’s Compensation and brain injury.  My anti-nuclear efforts have suffered tremendously due to WorkComp battles, but it has helped to see the parallels between the ‘PROFITS BEFORE LIVES’ nuclear and insurance industries, and the ‘swaths’ of 21st Century Sonderkommando.

I live near Joshua Tree National Park in California, USA. I am much nicer than I may appear in my blogs, and while my ability to speak is still impaired and challenging, I can speak but written communications are much easier for me, post-injury. If you have a story to share, send it to me.  We Are The Media Now.

They all seem tasked with a propaganda launch to attempt to mitigate the truths exposed in 2015 by ProPublica and NPR efforts that just exposed the tip of the iceberg.  They are apparently having a ‘secret’ national discussion in May…. we’ll see what comes of that, won’t we.  So far, not so good in the open-ness and transparency arenas.  Attacks on Injured Workers seem to be escalating, and tales of WC Nurses posing as employees at doctors offices have been reported to be threatening, intimidating and terrorizing injured workers at doctor’s appointments.  SMH…. thinking, ‘NOT IN THIS COUNTRY!!’

YEP. The legislated ability of non-performing attorneys to have liens on a case that hinders ability for competent replacement when initial attorney choices have been poorly made by ill-informed Injured Workers is a huge ethical problem.

That harms not only the injured workers, but taxpayers and the legal community.

The lack of knowledge of body parts, return to work strategies, obtaining medical care and competent providers, as well as lack of expertise in mediation and structured settlements is another gap in attorney performance that harms many.

It’s good for the defense side, though. They bank on it, don’t they? :/ Isn’t that part of what keeps cases churning for years and years and years, with a little periodic hand-wringing by various ‘stakeholders’ about ain’t it awful for the poor injured, unemployed, disabled-by-comp workers? : (

When even the Information and Assistance Officers, (officers of the Court?) as in California, insist that WorkComp is an “adversarial system” that is yet another problem identified requiring complete transformation; barring transformation, complete and total demolition is required.

If there is no intention or will to provide “immediate, reasonable and appropriate medical care”…. why not just call it an extermination program, based on outcomes?

WorkComp Exterminations —– there’s little compensation for the Injured Workers, and too many PAY WITH THEIR LIVES after long, torturous ordeals. Most Injured Workers have the same story—-just different names and different body parts. Quite similar outcomes. Survey the real doctors. Ask the Super Lawyers.

When attorneys play a numbers game with the lives of injured workers, accept denials of medical care and benefits for years, in hopes the attorneys may ‘hit a jackpot’ on another case it seems to be not only ethical violations, but breach of fiduciary responsibilities of applicant attorneys, evidenced by the years and years (50 or 60 in CA?) of dismal outcomes for the injured workers and other taxpayers.

My husband has finally gotten in front of a judge for a settlement hearing after almost 10 years. We often think our attorney is on the other side. We weren’t told we could have a witness other than me & when we asked if our friend of 40 years could testify he said “no, we don’t want it to sound rehearsed “.
Then he requested that I write a list of questions that he should ask me when I testify.
Any advice?

When you are represented, you are somewhat at the mercy of the party retained to represent you.

Ten years?!!! That’s not uncommon. If your attorney is asking you to do his/her job, that is very much a red flag. Same attorney for the entire 10 years? What outcome is this attorney preparing you for?

Best to have that conversation and understanding prior to getting in front of the judge, IMHO.

It might be worth a second opinion and A willingness to change counsel if you find a more responsive and proactive and prepared representative.

An alternative is to consider mediation and a structured settlement discussion PRIOR to the hearing. If your current Counsel’s negotiating skills are lacking, a mediator can possibly bridge that gap. Search LinkedIn for MEDIATORS and find ones with WorkComp expertise.

What State is the case in? How much time before the hearing?

There is a group called National Association of Injured and Disabled Workers with a wealth of other injured Workers willing to share experience strength hope and resources. Check them out!

Browse through all of David DePaolo’s blogs for an excellent overview of the national WorkComp systems. Search his blogs for articles on settlements.

Never give up. Help your husband protect himself and your family. The system does not protect and it sounds questionable that your current Counsel may be of much help. DO Your HOMEWORK. BE PREPARED for more of the same that you have already experienced in the past 10 years. Sorry.

Know that you are not alone and that many best wishes are coming your way from Injured Workers around the nation who know your pain! Let’s see who else weighs in with a kind word, hope, strategy or resources.

Open Letter Sedgwick Institute – LinkedIn Group Attention: to Jonathan Mast

Hi Jonathan Mast:
This was going to be a ‘private message’ but I see that Chris Mandel, Director at the Sedgwick Institute has just posted a request with the topic, “The National Conversation on WC”  and that  “….What do you think? Is the system broken or in need of major repair? Your thoughts on specifically how the SI might play in this important dialogue, is welcome.”. .
I will therefore make this an open message to you and the group, including Chris Mandel.  I am very intuitive and I have a sense of who has had his ear today, so without further ado, here’s what I wrote to you this morning, and that I joyfully share with the entire group, for what it’s worth.   By Monday, I will take another swing at the concepts here, and in the earlier blogs, and do my best to compartmentalize the issues and potential actions.
 .
I am sooooo excited about the potentials of the Sedgwick Institute LinkedIn group!   That sort of open forum is EXACTLY what is needed, and I applaud the effort.  Thank you again!  How can we facilitate more input from Injured Workers to save more lives?   I have some ideas.   Here are a few, for what it’s worth.

I have blogged and posted  about your new group extensively, encouraging people to request to join, and I have just gone thru my A-list on LinkedIn and extended direct  invitations.  I hope they join.  They are professionals I have met along the way, and good thinkers, and far more ‘politcally correct’ that I could ever be.
 .
I would like to invite, once the group is larger and more established, Dr. Bennett Omalu, of Concussion / NFL fame.  Such an invitation to your group might best come from you directly.   Let’s put that on the agenda?
 .
Across the boards, Brain Injury is exacerbated by current WorkComp practices, and with some immediate, reasonable and appropriate medical care, many such injured parties could likely return to work in the first year…. but as it stands, too many end up permanently and totally disabled.  The same seems to hold true for back injuries.  A study of OUTCOMES of similar injuries in and out of the industry must become a key study area for the actual “Sedgwick Institute” — imho.  
 .
With new energy, the conversations about Workers Compensation and Injured Workers may become more relevant.  Without it, it will just be more singing to the choir by the usual crowds.  Without new conversations, shareholders WILL be adversely impacted.  “No lie lasts forever.”
 .
Will you be creating a similar group on Facebook?   There is a very loud and very angry crowd over there, with some very legitimate reasons for outrage.  If you are open to creating, as mentioned in one of my posts, a ‘Si Venting Room’ as a step from the actual ‘virtual conference room’ …. I believe that Injured Workers can do a ‘brain dump’ and ‘just the facts’ can then be presented for further discussion.
 .
Here’s a thought:  If your group ‘admin’ team might be willing, they could help make Injured Worker rants/complaints/stories more concise, and relevant to the Sedgwick Institute aims IF THEY COULD OFFER, OR FACILITATE, ‘editing’ support…. core issues could be clearly identified, and once a problem is identified, it’s on the road to transformation.    You could send me a short note, thanking me for my interest and enthusiasm, and advise that you will or will not be creating a Facebook Sedgwick Institute group, and indicate that SI IS very open to hearing from Injured Workers — impacted by Sedgwick and others — and if the issues are kept ‘anonymous’ they can be clearly discussed for the common good.
 .
You can mention that even investigative reporters have commented on how Injured Workers go on and on and on from this to that, so you could offer a joint venture type event — even with help from your training department…..  Invite Injured Workers to tell their stories, unbridled, and let some of your adjusters in training or other appropriate staff do a summary for discussion?   That could be win/win/win…. and long and short versions could be shared…. and just maybe, some THOUGHT LEADERS may have a Flash of Genius in each matter.
 .
If I can help you further in your social media efforts, I WILL HELP.   If you will create some intense surveys, more will be revealed.  To focus solely on the OPIUM traffic could derail your entire group.  Any ‘blame the victims/injured workers’ sentiments could do like wise. If the intent is an honest platform, there’s lots more ahead!
 .
It is my intention to ensure that the decision making arm of Sedgwick Institute gets some real facts from the ‘battle fields’ in hopes they will incite compassion, medical care, disability benefits and settlements for the most egregiously harmed.

I am compiling some of the ‘stories’ I have received, and the Injured Workers want anonymity, so that means the carriers and their employers get the same courtesy.   I will share it in the group as soon as it is done, in hopes that more issues can be identified and perhaps some of the ‘thought leaders’ will roll up their sleeves and dish out some solution oriented dialogue.

If you have any suggestions for me in how I can better present the Injured Worker perspective, please feel free to share.  Here is the questionnaire I have used… and it could be further developed, without question.  I do my best.

A similar questionnaire could be developed to reach the attorneys, doctors, providers, employers etc.   The California Attorney Applicant Association is doing a little survey about the ‘broken work comp system’ that is, in my opinion, entirely too weak.   Such organizations absolutely need training in negotiatons, mediations and structured settlements.

In any event, I wish you and yours new insights so that you can make amends to the Injured Worker populations and lead the way for others to do the same.

According to David DePaolo’s blogs, Dave North is not a bad guy, and in fact, he seems to be a real people person at the conferences, etc.  I sent him a connection request this morning.  You might want to be able to let him know that we have made contact and while I may be somewhat of a ‘loose cannon’ … my heart is in the right place — to help save lives of Injured Workers.

WorkComp destroyed my faith in the American judicial systems, so relying on business expertise and experience, I KNOW that lives can be saved and your industry can be revamped without harming as it does.  Teams of Mediators and Structured Settlement people could turn the tide.    It just needs some communications, willl to good and some hard core facts.

Thank you for creating this group, [Sedgwick Institute – on LinkedIn ] and for being open to participation by Injured Workers who have dodged some bullets in the system, and got out alive.

I blog, and my ‘rebranding’ blog is MyWorkCompCoach.com and my ‘screaming to the high heavens’ blog is AskAboutWorkersCompGravyTrains.com/list-of-posts/

It can be used as a study piece that this community of thought leaders may find some new perspectives and identification of issues requiring solutions and resolutions.

Professional friends, upon learning of my workplace injuries, advised ‘get out of work comp by any means necessary, it will kill you!’ Later, some of the same people, and new professionals, said they had never seen anyone fight so hard for life and exit from the system. Believe it or not, a warm and somewhat fuzzy best wishes letter even arrived from the defense.

I am currently collecting stories from other Injured Workers in hopes to present issues for the “National Discussions” that appear to be in progress.

Many of us are extremely grateful for the stellar reporting of the investigative reporters that provided America with the information in The Demolition of Workers Compensation, that may serve to save more lives. Many of us hope for an encore. I personally hope that investigative reporters will be invited into this group, and encouraged to participate and demolish the existing systems, and replace them with ones that reflect values of life, liberty, and justice for all.

I seem to ‘scare’ some people with some of my out-of-the-box ideas, but over the course of my career, prior to the workplace injury, I had also supported some very powerful captains of industry. Thinking small is not second nature to me.

I will watch and read, and practice some restraint in this group, seeing it as a huge opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of not only Injured Workers, but in the lives of providers & workers on the ‘short-end-of-the-work-comp-stick.’

FURTHER ACTION:   Request to Join the Sedgwick Institute – LinkedIn Group… remember….no hitting, kicking, spitting, name calling or street talk.   These people have jobs!  If you’re a professional, join and share — you do not have the right to remain silent.

Remember, most WorkComp groups don’t want to know about Injured Workers as real people, let alone hear horror stories.  It makes them feel, and they can’t proceed, if they start to have feelings that Injured Workers are humans, being subjected to some of the most unimaginable events for the profits of the few.

One Veteran suggested, “Tell them to conduct themselves as if they are Prisoners of War. They will know what to do, and how to survive, and how escape.”

Let’s hope for a PEACE TREATY, restitution and reconciliations along with rehabilitations.

While many hope for only retribution for the offenders, let that go for now.

It’s  dangerous out there…. SURVIVE FIRST, GET OUT OF THE SYSTEM, RECOVER, THEN COME BACK AND FIGHT THAT GOOD FIGHT, PERHAPS WITH SOME ALLIES.

Maybe we will collectively witness rehabilitations and transformations.

You’ve done your time — now seek your freedom, and learn what you can to build a new life.

The Age of Information can set you free. It’s a Freedom Train….  if you case is too complex, find some help to tell the story as succinctly as possible.   You have 30 seconds to grab the attention of influencers.

Remember, everybody already knows what you have endured, and all your ‘evidence’ and medical records don’t mean much at all.

BE OPEN TO SETTLEMENT.  HAVE AN OPEN HEART, OPEN MIND, EMPTY BRIEFCASE, AND IF YOU HAVE TO DITCH YOUR ATTORNEY, DO IT, AND FIGHT FOR YOUR OWN LIFE.  THEY GET PAID ANYWAY.

More Talking Points for a GLOBAL SUMMIT on WorkComp Resolutions! WHAT ELSE? THINK THINK THINK

WE ALL HAVE A STORY TO TELL

And what WorkComp Survival and Virtual Combat Skills can YOU recommend for each of these points?

The WorkComp industry has a number of industry blogs and injured workers have relatively few.  Injured Workers are, on the whole, AFRAID TO SPEAK ABOUT THE ATROCITIES THEY EXPERIENCE!  THEY FEAR THE INSURANCE COMPANIES AND RETALIATION.  THEY FEAR THE ‘FLAWED’ REPORTS OF DOCTORS WHO CLEARLY WORK FOR THAT INDUSTRY.  THEY ARE AFRAID BECAUSE THEY LOSE THEIR HEALTH, THEIR JOBS, THEIR HOMES, AND TOO OFTEN, THEIR VERY LIVES!

Lawyers who purport to represent and protect injured workers are often lax about blogging and speaking up.  Sure, discussions over drinks at fancy conferences, but nothing that can really help save a life.  Their organizations ban injured workers and their office staff often deal with injured workers with sheer contempt and disdain.

How few providers in WorkComp who actually know REAL INJURED WORKERS is astonishing!  How few Adjusters and Defense attorneys have ever met any REAL INJURED WORKERS?

How often does an Injured Worker’s attorney ever meet face to face or take a phone call after the retaining papers are signed?  This aloofness alllows them to call work comp horror stories ‘hyperbole’ — because if they really had to face the harsh realities of what their industry does to people around the world, those capable of feelings of guilt and shame would clearly be overwhelmed with remorse.   The others, not so much.

How many WorkComp industry people actually allow Injured Workers into their social media discussion groups? Happy to report, more and more are doing so, and they may even be benefiting by discovering new perspectives!

While not all workplace injuries are totally debilitating, creating ‘swaths’ of Injured and Disabled citizens, with costs shifted to Social Welfare and Social Security systems, the majority of WorkPlace injuries CREATE MILLIONS OF PERMANENTLY AND SEVERELY INJURED AND DISABLED CITIZENS.

Many are left jobless, homeless, further injured by lack of competent medical care for years, medical-butchery and poisoning and addictions induced by the few remaining ‘doctors’ in the system, for profit in direct violations of oaths to ‘do no harm.’

These individuals and corporations are apparently leased/owned by some of the extremely profitable insurance industries.

The incompetencies of the doctors on the dole are shocking, and would require revocation of licenses to practice medicine, were it not for their protections under the Workers Compensation banners, which strip citizens in America of civil and human rights, without a blink by legislators.  FOLLOW THAT MONEY TRAIL.

The incompetence of the vast majority of attorneys who seem helpless and hopeless to protect injured workers adds to the problems.  A work-comp legal-mill seems to be a ‘front-door operation’ for 21st Century Sonderkommandos.  Alleging to represent injured workers while failing to actually do so is…reprehensible in a civilized society.

It is a small group of influencers molding and shaping a skewed public opinion on WorkComp.

The influencers make a healthy living, so it seems, spewing their views, that clearly protect perpetrators of harm and “Angels of Death.”

It must certainly be difficult for influencers to grasp the horrors perpetuated by the system, of which they are a part. The money trail calls it what it is.  Calling the pleas for help of Injured Workers around the globe “hyperbole” may comfort them only so long.

The current movement toward a secret tribunal of industry experts to attempt to mitigate the exposure facilitated by the 2015 series, From Insult to Injury – America’s Vanishing Worker Protections about THE DEMOLITION OF WORKERS COMPENSATION, is frightening indeed.

Rather than open up a true national discussion, “they” (those who profit most by the WorkComp system—AS IT IS!)  seem to be organizing the ‘group of usual suspects’ that may include an unknown injured worker or two.

Perhaps that ‘special tribunal’ will develop a legitimate list of questions and concerns and poll the community at large, including injured workers, current providers, and those who have left the industry–without fear or caution.

Perhaps ProPublica and NPR and NAIDW.org can be the collectors of such data.  We know what ‘the industry’ can do with data to make it look like the horrors are ‘exceptions’ and lessons have beeen learned from the most vile and vicious cases!

In California, the attorneys association allegedly representing and protecting injured workers has just released a little poll that may or may not reach injured workers, and may serve to ‘absolve’ the association’s members of culpability in the failures to protect injured workers for ‘more than 50 years.’

 

TALK TO INJURED WORKERS??!!!  JOIN SOCIAL MEDIA GROUPS THAT INCLUDE BOTH SIDES—THE INJURED AND THOSE WHO PROFIT ‘BECAUSE SOMEBODY GOT HURT AT WORK?!!

The pattern is often sheer relief when Injured Workers realize they are not alone, they are believed, and that they must be proactive, if they are to survive the Workers Compensation system, as practiced today in America, Canada, UK, Australia, and anywhere it’s tentacles reach and destroy.

Too many confine their writings to ‘singing to the choir’ efforts on social media! THIS MUST CHANGE, AND IT MUST CHANGE NOW.

Then, they often slip back into the abyss of Learned Helplessness and disbelief of the actual atrocities that are ahead for all but the least injured workers.

As a first-aid resource, WorkComp may be a viable solution.  As a means to ensure medical care for serious injuries, WorkComp is more like “Larkspur” and staffed by Joseph Mengele-type practioners, and should be subject to 21st Century Doctor’s Trials.  The collusion appears to be so deep, that’s unlikely to happen in our lifetimes.

RESTORE CIVIL RIGHTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS TO INJURED WORKERS NOW!

WHAT CAN HAPPEN IN OUR LIFETIME IS TO OFFER SOME AMNESTY TO THE PERPETRATORS OF THE HORRIFIC CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY, COMMITTED UNDER THE BANNER OF ‘WORKERS COMPENSATION.’

Providing opportunities for the perps-in-suits to mend their ways, right their wrongs, and cease and desist maiming and torturing and abusing injured and disabled workers once their profitability to the work-comp money laundering schemes are exhausted would be one desirable outcome.

OR, AMERICA GOES DOWN IN HISTORY AS COMPLICIT  IN CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY, PERPETUATED IN THE NAME OF GREED, MALICE, AND EXTERMINATION OF THE DISABLED AND THE ECONOMICALLY NO LONGER VIABLE.  YECH!
Overcoming learned helpless is key……some still believe “if only they do this or that” medical care will happen and they will be ok.  Influencers, in Pollyanna-ish style, seem to perpetuate that fiction as well.  The system is NOT BROKEN.  Check the bottom line profits.   If it was “broken” there would a race to fix it!  There is no such thing, just endless chit chat conferences, studies, skewing of stats and more conferences!

It is nearly impossible for most injured workers to do the math, until it is too late.

When doctors are rewarded with thousands of dollars for signing fraudulent medical reports, often written/copy-pasted,  by their non-medical staff charged with  simply regurgitations of previous ‘medical evaluations’ written to deny medical care, it’s hard for most reasonable, thinking people to see that a regular expenditure of $3-7,000 for ‘inaccurate reports’ (with elements of plausible deniability!) is a bad thing, and not a legit “medical expense” and is by no means a form of “medical care.”

When doctors are rewarded for botched surgeries, and repeat attempts to correct earlier attempts of their own, or another doctor-on-the take, must be investigated further by proper law enforcement agencies.  Red-Bull slugging surgeons banking on repeat surgeries should be a concern to all working people.

You never know when you might find yourself under their care!  A tiny gang of crooked surgeons was apparently recently indicted in California– tip of the iceberg.  The non-English speaking working class is severely at risk and quite defenseless, too!

Study of Defense Against The Psychopaths is imperative for all injured workers and those who care about them. Injured workers must do a  ‘brain dump’ of their story, in writing, then get it down to not more than 3 pages, and get to JUST THE FACTS, JACK AND JILL!

Experts are known to consistently give this piece of advice, off the record:

“Get out of the system by any means necessary to save your life, now!”

Any injured worker will advise that is EASIER SAID THAN DONE!

Next recommendations include a blog and social media presence…with an abrupt reminder that “a $100k fine for a wrongful death is more attractive than paying a $300k or more medical bill to an insurance carrier” and that  $100k is apparently the maximum fine risk, thanks to California and Romano Trust vs. Kroeger / Sedgwick.

Sedgwick appears to have launched a “lessons learned” institute.  Let’s wait and see if it’s pure propaganda, or legitimate clean up efforts?

This writer knows a ‘swath’ of Injured Workers desperately losing the fight for life with that and other carriers!

In  my conversations with injured workers, we also discuss resources and I invite them to keep me posted.

The longest part is hearing their tales and I gently concur and remind that it is standard, not usual, everybody knows….so the time to act is now.

They express appreciation for my blogs and my sheer audacity and courage.

They must become their own heros….nobody is coming to rescue any injured workers after all the profits have been wrung out of them…

Communicating with Injured Workers is like corresponding with Convicts….prisoners of war….. the War On Workers!  There are other similarities between WorkComp and America’s For-Profit Prison systems.

Many are afraid to speak, and even their attorneys seem to want them off social media.
